Furniture design

Furniture design refers to the expression of the shape, function, scale and size, color, material and structure of furniture by means of graphics (or models) and text description. Furniture design is both an art and an applied science. It mainly includes three aspects: shape design, structure design and process design. The whole process of design includes data collection, conception, sketch drawing, evaluation, sample testing, reevaluation and production drawing. Every nation in the world, restricted by different natural and social conditions, has to form its own unique language, habits, morals, thinking, values and aesthetic concepts, thus forming its own unique culture. The nationality of furniture design is mainly manifested in the concept of design culture, which can directly reflect the psychological commonality of the whole nation. Different nations and different environments cause different cultural concepts, which directly or indirectly affect their furniture design style characteristics.
