During the summer, the Poole School of Management and university facilities began building Poole’s IT department in room 2400 on the second floor of Nelson Hall. The IT Help Desk supports all staff and students working and studying at Pool College. Services are available without an appointment.
“The new IT Help Desk will be a technology hub for Pool staff and students,” said Chief Information Officer Sasha Challgren. “We provide real-time technical support with a focus on improving and expanding technical services for the entire university community, with a focus on delivering exceptional services.”
“This new location gives students the opportunity to have an exciting experience while studying at Poole College and gain hands-on experience working with IT professionals as student IT advisors while providing IT support and expanding their experience. It also allows Poole’s IT team to expand their level of support by providing additional support services, extending support hours and enhancing our technical skills by working with some of the most creative and talented young people visiting NC.”
